March Fitness Friend Spotlight - Meet Shirley!


"Julie Anne was recommended to me by a close friend. I have an autoimmune condition that causes me to be in a lot of pain. I have tried physical therapy, chiropractors, Yoga, and acupuncture without much help, so I was a little skeptical at first. I am a very high-strung person and a mouth breather. Julie Anne taught me specific breathing exercises geared to what I needed, and teased out a lot of bad habits I was doing. This allowed my nervous system to stop ruling over all of my poor body movements. Calming myself down has had an amazing effect on my overall health. Relax, breathe, and ‘let go’ has been the biggest bonus to me, and I now know how to manage my stress with my breath work and exercises.
