“Before I started with Julie Anne, one of my main challenges was with my right foot. Since I stand a lot on the job, my feet would feel so sore, tired and very uncomfortable. It impacted my work life the most, because I was trying to survive the 10 - 11 hour shifts and I would practically drop into a chair once I got home. I've learned how critical posture is, and the impact it has on everything else. I've become aware of myself, especially when I'm in front of the computer at work, to blink and move my eyes instead of my head. Some of the stretching moves that I've learned in the past doesn't really bode well for the body. I'm still unlearning some of the incorrect stance or posture that I've been so used to. I've learned how important the feet are and their positioning. Basically now, I'm learning to build upon what we've done together in class, and growing as a person as I incorporate these into my daily life, which has become much better!” - Ime U.
